The Bike Challenge is a friendly competition that ran for all of
May as part of CycleMAYnia, with five member teams making
round-trips by bike instead of by car. Team members logged
each day they biked on their Commute Calendar. At the end of
the competition, the team with the highest number of
eligible days won the grand prize, $100 each to Fastrack Bicycles. The top teams also received gift certificates to Cranky's Bikes and bike lights.
Your next opportunity to meet the challenge will be in fall 2010, for the Commuter Challenge. Reduce trips by the following modes and earn points: carpool, vanpool, bus, walk/run, skate, bike, train, telecommute.
